On my 42 mile bicycle loop from Merrimac, Massachusetts today, I came upon the "1820 Country Market and Deli." What a fun and yummy discovery! Owner George is so personable; we had a wonderful conversation. And the gentleman behind the deli counter made me a most delicious Cranberry Walnut Chicken Salad Wrap. I enjoyed scanning the many interesting gift-type items for sale while my wrap was being made. I'm glad to know this fine establishment is on one of my NH bike loops.

I love this store! I love the convenience of getting milk nearby without going all the way in town. This place makes delicious antipasto, my husband says its the only place to get it. I highly recommend the chicken parmesan subs. The apple caramel wine from Zorvino vineyards tasted as delicious as an applecrisp dessert! The owners are really nice!
